THE 7th EASTERN EUROPEAN CONFERENCE OF MANAGEMENT AND ECONOMICS (EECME 2025)

TITLE: Rethinking Growth – Strategies for Resilient Economies in Globalized World

The conference will be held as a hybrid meeting on Thursday May 22, 2025, in Ljubljana, Slovenia. EECME 2025 is a peer-reviewed international scientific conference dedicated to exploring strategies for fostering resilient economies in a globalized world while reimagining approaches to growth.

The International Standard Serial Number ISSN 2712-2522 is assigned to the EECME Conference website.

The EECME 2025 conference focuses on rethinking growth strategies to build resilient economies in today's globalized world. This event brings together leaders, researchers, higher education teachers, authorities, and professionals to explore the dynamic interplay between sustainability, digital transformation, and internationalization, with a focus on innovative management and marketing, green economic growth, and the role of education in tackling global challenges. The importance of joint collaboration in addressing critical issues in a rapidly digitalizing and interconnected world will be emphasized.

Attendees will develop forward-looking approaches to achieve sustainable and competitive advantages in management and economics through the following conference topics:

The official languages of the Conference are English and Slovenian.

Participation in the 7th EECME conference is free of charge, with no attendance or registration fees.


On-line registration for the EECME conference
All participants, including presenters and attendees without papers, must complete their registration by May 19, 2025.

CALL FOR PAPERS

Authors are invited to submit abstracts in conference topics no later than February 9, 2025.

Abstracts (100–150 words) should clearly state the paper's topic, purpose, and methodology. Detailed instructions and the submission form are available through the following link:

NOTE:

- Authors can opt to have their full articles published in the EECME conference proceedings or journals without delivering an active presentation.
- For those presenting their work in English, a minimum B2 language proficiency level is required.

If authors wish to expand their accepted abstracts into full articles, full articles must be completed by April 13, 2025. For additional details, refer to the SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS for full article guidelines.

As part of the submission process, authors must ensure their articles comply with all provided guidelines. Articles that do not adhere to the EECME instructions and article template will be returned to the authors for revision. 

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS 

ARTICLE TEMPLATE 

Full articles must be submitted via email to: eecme@vspv.si.

All submitted articles will undergo a peer-review process conducted by experts in the same field of research. Peer reviewers will provide constructive feedback to help authors improve their work and to assist editors in determining the suitability of articles for publication in the EECME conference publications.

Authors will be notified of the review results and receive reviewer comments via email no later than May 16, 2025 (Notification of Acceptance).

Final articles, including revisions based on reviewer feedback, must be resubmitted to eecme@vspv.si no later than June 1, 2025

• Authors are responsible for thoroughly proofreading their final articles before submission, ensuring they are free from any elements of plagiarism.
• Authors are not permitted to misuse generative artificial intelligence in any inappropriate manner for articles submitted for publication in EECME publications.
• If artificial intelligence tools are used in the preparation of the article, their use must be appropriately cited or clearly integrated into the content.

CONFERENCE MATERIALS

Following the event, articles will be published in:

depending on the outcome of the respective journal review processes.
Additionally, selected articles will be included in the EECME Conference Proceedings.
The final publication decisions will be made by the scientific committee and/or editorial board, considering the academic focus and quality of the submitted articles.

The publication of articles is free of charge.

IMPORTANT DATES and NOTES

  • Abstract submission: February 9, 2025.
  • Notification of acceptance and invitation to submit full articles: February 24, 2025.
  • Full article submission: April 13, 2025.
  • Review results of articles: May 16, 2025.
  • All participants (active and those without articles) must register for the conference by May 19, 2025.
  • The EECME conference will be held on May 22, 2025, as a hybrid meeting.
  • Final article submission (with review corrections) – submission deadline: June 1, 2025.
  • Publication of articles: July 2025.

Authors are encouraged to submit their articles as early as possible to ensure a timely, efficient, and high-quality review process. Submitting articles close to the deadline may result in longer review times due to the high volume of articles typically received at that time.
